Commercial Warranty

H & H Industries (“The Company”) provides a ten-year warranty from the date of installation completion, covering any material manufacturing defects in GAIA Stone Quartz. This warranty excludes all other express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of resale or purchasable for a particular purpose, and warranties from other manufacturers.

Under this warranty, H & H Industries' sole responsibility is to repair or replace products that are found to be defective during the aforementioned warranty period. The Company will not be held liable for any additional losses or damages that occur due to the installation process. Furthermore, H & H Industries is not liable for indirect, punitive, consequential, or similar damages, such as loss of profit or interruptions to business.

Terms and Conditions:

This warranty applies exclusively to GAIA Stone surfaces that are permanently installed in commercial structures and have not been moved from their initial installation site.
The warranty is valid only for materials that are maintained according to the GAIA Stone Care & Maintenance Guidelines, which can be found at www.gaiastone.ca .
Products with "honed" finishes are not covered by this warranty as they require more frequent maintenance and may not be appropriate in areas of heavy usage and traffic.
The warranty is non-transferable and is limited to a period of ten (10) years from the date of installation. It is valid only for the original owner of the building where the GAIA Stone Quartz Countertop is installed and ends if the building is sold to a new owner.
This warranty covers commercial properties, which include locations open to the public for business, properties used for residential or commercial rental purposes, and establishments such as hotels or motels.

Commercial Warranty Exclusions:

Routine maintenance, including minor wear-and-tear such as surface stains and water spots, which can be addressed using the procedures outlined in the GAIA Stone Care & Maintenance Guidelines.
Products installed in outdoor environments.
Flooring applications.
Improper use or mistreatment of the product.
Damage caused by third-party installers not following the specified installation guidelines provided by H & H Industries. The liability for incorrect installation rests solely with the installer if a third-party is hired.
Costs associated with labor for removing, fabricating, or reinstalling GAIA Stone Quartz, or any other tasks necessary for the repair or replacement of defective material.
Appearance or performance of seams.
Products with "honed" or other modified finishes.
Additional modifications such as plumbing, electrical work, tiling, cabinetry, etc., required during the repair or replacement of the GAIA Stone product.
Damage resulting from mishandling, misuse, excessive heat exposure, adverse weather conditions, physical or chemical abuse, or use in outdoor weather or climate conditions.

H & H Industries will not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the products covered by this warranty. The exclusion or limitation of incidental damages may not apply if prohibited by your province’s laws.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

Your GAIA Stone Quartz is a robust and stylish surface that promises continuing beauty and ease of maintenance. By adhering to these simple care and maintenance tips, your GAIA Stone Quartz Countertop will remain beautiful and functional for years to come.

Daily Maintenance:

For routine cleaning, we recommend using a soft cleaning tool with lukewarm water.
For tougher, greasier messes, opt for a mild liquid cleaner or standard dishwashing detergent like Palmolive, combined with warm water and a soft sponge.
Avoid cleaning tools made with aluminum oxide (such as green or red Scotch Brite pads) as they can damage the quartz’s finish.
Refrain from using abrasive cleaning powders like Comet and Ajax. Instead, we suggest using Bar Keepers Friend or Weiman Quartz Countertop Cleaner, which are safe for your countertop.

Safe Products:

While most household cleaners are safe for your countertop, steer clear of any products containing Hydrofluoric acid, Methylene chloride, Trichloroethylene, or any solutions that are extremely acidic or alkaline, as these may cause discoloration.

No Need for Sealant:

Your quartz countertop does not require sealing. Over time, sealant tends to wear off unevenly, leading to a patchy appearance.

Heat Resistance:

Although your surface is resistant to scorching, it is not scorch-proof. Always use a hot pad or trivet with high-temperature devices to avoid damage from thermal expansion, which is not covered under the warranty.

RESIDENTIAL LIFETIME WARRANTY

H & H Industries (“The Company”) guarantees that GAIA Stone products are free from manufacturing defects from the installation date, provided it is fabricated and installed in private single-family homes by an authorized GAIA Stone Installer.

This Residential Lifetime Warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the GAIA Stone installation. In the case of GAIA Stone installed in newly constructed single-family homes, the warranty extends only to the first owner and resident and is not transferable

Only H & H Industries has the authority to make determinations regarding this warranty. No dealer, salesperson, distributor, fabricator, or any other party is authorized to offer warranties or make guarantees on behalf of H & H Industries concerning GAIA Stone products. Should a defect due to manufacturing be confirmed by H & H Industries, the company may, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective materials. The decision for repair or replacement is solely at the discretion of H & H Industries and does not guarantee an exact color match.
